ABSTRACT

Meeting of Surgeons  The twenty-eighth Congrès français de chirurgie was held recently under the chairmanship of Dr. Walther, surgeon of the Hôpitaux de Paris and agrégé professor at the Faculty of Medicine. In his opening address, the president reviewed the progress in surgery during the war. He also paid homage to the colleagues who had fallen on the field of honor.Three subjects were discussed: internal traumatic lesions of the wrist; the treatment of cancer of the tongue by the surgical method, and paranephric tumors.
