Sentenced for Illegal Operation.
—Dr. Ephraim Northcott, Redwood City, charged with the murder of Miss Inez E. Reed, a United States Army nurse, by an illegal operation, is said to have been found guilty, July 5, and given an indeterminate sentence of from ten years to life imprisonment.
