The board of managers of the Missouri Pacific and Iron Mountain Employees' Hospital Association has authorized the erection of an emergency hospital at Argenita, across the river from Little Rock. It will provide for emergency treatment of the sick and injured employees of the shops and railroad yards.
Dr. Verne R. Stover, Little Rock, has resigned as superintendent of the city hospital, to become medical director of the St. James Hospital at Anking, China. Dr. J. B. Dooley has been named to succeed Dr. Stover. Dr. W. M. McRae has succeeded Dr. Dooley as district physician.—Dr. Jesse S. Rinehart has been appointed city health officer at Camden.—Dr. W. G. Hodges of Social Hill has been appointed physician for the Malvern and Camden Railway.
