Industrial Concern Establishes Health Department
—The Tennessee Coal and Iron Company has created a health department in connection with its office in Birmingham. Dr. Lloyd Noland, formerly of the Ancon Hospital, Panama, has been appointed supervisor of the department.
State Association Meeting
—At the annual meeting of the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, held in Mobile, April 16-18, the following officers were elected: president, Dr. R. S. Hill, Montgomery; vice-presidents, Drs. Hugh W. Blair, Sheffield, and F. A. Webb, Calvert; secretary, Dr. J. A. Norment Baker, Montgomery (reelected); and treasurer, Dr. H. Gaither Perry, Montgomery (reelected). The next meeting will be held in Montgomery.
