Peripheral Neuropathies in Clinical Practice is the latest edition to the Contemporary Neurology Series, which addresses a topic that many physicians find difficult to approach much less comprehend. The authors attempt to summarize the salient aspects of peripheral neuropathy from a clinical, neurophysiological, and pathological basis by drawing on and integrating their subspecialty expertise into a concise textbook. Numerous textbooks cover the same material, but many of these efforts have resulted in much larger tomes that prove difficult to read in a single sitting. This book is a pleasant exception. It is clear that the authors invested a great deal of effort to produce a coherent, interdisciplinary, comprehensive, and well-cited textbook that yet can be easily read. Unlike many textbooks in which different authors' styles are evident, this book appears to have been fully integrated such that each chapter has the same intrinsic style.
