In Skin Cancer Management: A Practical Approach, experts in the field of cutaneous oncology synthesize extensive literature reviews with their own experience to provide step-by-step approaches to a wide range of procedures involved in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of skin cancers. By focusing exclusively on the management of nonmelanoma skin cancers (ie, basal and squamous cell carcinoma), the book offers extensive coverage of most of its topics while remaining portable and reader-friendly. By contrast, many published textbooks attempt to cover too many topics relevant to dermatologic surgery (eg, lasers, injectables, cosmetic surgery), resulting in either superficial coverage of each topic or a more cumbersome text.
