This is the first update to this cornerstone surgical reference since its original release in 1994. Like its predecessor, the second edition is a definitive surgical text, incorporating the commentary and knowledge of more than 130 recognized experts in pediatric urology. At 961 pages, including a detailed index for quick reference, this edition is more than 200 pages longer than the original, owing primarily to an enhanced organizational structure with more subheadings and a more artistic format featuring larger diagrams and tables, as well as stylized fonts. This results in a less compact reference text but ultimately makes this book more user friendly than the previous edition.
