This week we release the first JAMA and JAMA Network mobile application—the JAMA Network Reader. This app is an innovative reader that includes JAMA and the 9 JAMA Network specialty journals and is designed for users of any device. For a limited time this app (a browser-based app) will be free, allowing our current readers to become accustomed to the app and a new audience to discover our extensive content. The JAMA Network Reader is a web app, a hybrid between a website and a mobile app, and it is accessed directly by visiting http://app.jamanetwork.com—there is no need to visit any app store. Links to the JAMA Network Reader are also available on any of the JAMA Network journal websites or via a Google search.
