In Reply: Dr Kruszewski requests clarification of the sources of support for my research.

As disclosed in the Viewpoint¹ that Kruszewski cites, over the past 3 years, I have received pharmaceutical supplies for my federally sponsored research from Forest Laboratories, Pfizer, Eli Lilly, and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Wyeth merged with Pfizer in 2009 and so was not disclosed separately.

I received pharmaceutical supplies from GlaxoSmithKline from approximately 1998 to 2005, but not within the past 3-year time limit required for disclosure by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors.
