The first 71 pages are devoted to finger training, the tying of the "slow" and "fast" square knots with appropriate exercises for finger training. The next 100 pages consider the "hidden error," "twin stitches," and "daily episodes" which latter cover oozing, tying under tension, the use of hemostats, followed by essential technical innovations, skills, and instruments developed by the author. Part II devotes 327 pages to the introduction of sample operations such as wedge-shaped excision of a cervical lesion, cold knife conization, myomectomy, retrograde appendectomy, various hysterectomy techniques, cervico-pexy, hemorrhoidectomy, and the relief of urinary incontinence and the incompetent cervix.
