BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETS FOR CONSIDERATION OF NEW PROPOSED LEGISLATIONThe following report pertaining to the activities of the National Physicians' Committee has been submitted and is published for the information of the readers of The Journal:On February 12, at a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the National Physicians' Committee for the Extension of Medical Service, action was taken to increase the number of voting trustees from twelve to fifteen members. Because of continuing ill health, Dr. John A. Hartwell tendered his resignation. The resignation was accepted and Dr. Charles Gordon Heyd, of New York, was unanimously elected to fill the vacancy. Drs. Harvey B. Stone, Baltimore, James A. Paullin, Atlanta, Ga., Edward J. McCormick, Toledo, Ohio, and Charles Dukes, Oakland, Calif., were elected to membership on the Board of Trustees.The organization setup of the National Physicians' Committee for the Extension of
