THE SECOND ANNUAL CONGRESS ON INDUSTRIAL HEALTH One of the main objectives of the Council on Industrial Health is dissemination of information to the medical profession about important developments in the field of health control of workers. In keeping with this intention, the second Annual Congress on Industrial Health has been arranged; the program appears on page 61 of this issue of The Journal. The first of these congresses was devoted largely to orientation in a rapidly expanding field, emphasizing particularly the extent of participation already undertaken by governmental, medical and other interested organizations. The second congress devotes time to symposiums on syphilis in industry, evaluation of disability and industrial physical examinations. Other presentations will include a discussion of the shortcomings of rehabilitation of the physically disabled from the point of view of all participating agencies—the physician, the compensation authorities and the rehabilitation groups themselves.
