New Requirements for Foreign Medical Graduates.—
The California State Board of Medical Examiners announces that after September 14 graduates of foreign medical colleges must show the following requirements, in addition to those contained in the standard application for a license to practice medicine in California:
A license to practice medicine and/or surgery in the country wherein is located the medical school which granted them their diploma.
One year internship served in an approved hospital in the United States after fulfilment of condition number 1, or
Completion of the senior course in an approved medical school in the United States in lieu of requirement number 2.
