ABSTRACT

This is a delight to have at hand for the style and mode of presentation are completely original. The most noticeable innovations are an economy of words and a simplification of form and format. The entire book is presented in outline form. Each section of the outline is covered in from 1 to 3 or 4 brief sentences —each devoid of all ornamentation. As a means of refreshing one's knowledge, this is unsurpassed. It may, however, be questioned if the subject is so easily grasped by one who is covering the ground for the first time, and who is unacquainted with the word-economy presented. Not a word may be missed without danger of losing the sense of the portion covered. Thus, for one who is used to reading rapidly and intuitively selecting the salient words, the arrangement may present difficulties. But once the system used is grasped and proper reading
