With Central Pain Syndrome, Sergio Canavero and Vincenzo Bonicalzi have produced a unique text on central pain. It contains one of the most extensive catalogs of studies on the subject available to researchers and clinicians today. The book creates a framework for understanding central pain and culminates with a discussion of the “attractor dynamic reverberation theory,” which the authors claim will “[offer] a definitive cure and [do] away with all competing theories.”
