The pathology results are in:
if they could vote, the majority
of my prostate cells sampled would choose
“Cancer” were the election today.
As the incumbent, needless to say
I find these results quite unnerving.
I've tried to serve my constituent
cells by eating right, exercising,
minimizing gross indiscretions.
Most organs seem pleased. Not the prostate.
I'm not looking for a landslide win,
just a few more years of a good run.
Therefore, I've decided to pursue
resection of said tissue along
party lines, Normal and Abnormal,
to increase my odds of survival.
Lord knows in this town there's nothing wrong
with a little gerrymandering.
