Like the first (1991) and second (1998) editions, this book offers detailed information on medical problems common in musicians, singers, and dancers, as well as on diagnosis, evaluation methods, treatments, and predisposing factors. As mentioned by the world-renowned musicians who wrote the foreword to the first and second editions, there was a time not so long ago that most physicians had little or no idea that musicians have specific needs and are vulnerable to specific instrument-related injuries.
